- I visited a company for the second time. This place is a bilingual tax service basically. They cater to Spanish speakers. I really never thought I would hear from them again, so it was a pleasant surprise. I helped them with notarizing a car sale and a contract.
- A new company called me. I have no idea what they do, but they are located in the Industriplex off of Airline Hwy in Baton Rouge. I basically filled in for their notary that is on vacation. Blah….
- Now for the bad title company doing something good. Yesterday I was whining and complaining about a lender and title company that screwed a mortgage refinance up through miscommunication and sloppiness. They corrected the docs today and it was a smooth closing. Best of all, they agreed that their errors from yesterday cost me a lot of time, and agreed to pay a double fee. Good job guys!
In other notary news, I’m looking at boosting my marketing in a pretty big way. I need a surge of new customers (mainly commercial), so I’m hoping this will be a hit. Time will tell. I can tell you that marketing is expensive!
On the personal side, we went to watch our boy Quinn tonight at a jazz concert at Baton Rouge High School. They were good, and we really liked his solo. He only has a few concerts left before his high school career is over. We went to eat at Doe’s Eat Place after the show. Our waiter was awesome, and the food was the bomb! I’m fatter than a tick right now, so we’re laying back to watch The Voice and go easy.
