I work for dozens of mortgage companies from all over the country. I know hundreds of loan officers from dozens of mortgage companies. There is one loan officer that stands out from the best. He:
- Really cares. I have never met any loan officer that cares so much about his customers as this man.
- Knows his stuff. I consider myself to be somewhat of an expert on home loans, but I know nothing compared to this man. When I have questions, he is the one person that I call.
- Is reachable. If I need to ask him a question, I call him. He almost always answers his phone. On the occasions that he is busy, he always calls me back within minutes.
- Is hands on. He doesn’t take in the orders and throw everything on his underlings. He is involved in the entire process, from start to finish.
I can’t tell you how much easier my life is when I get to work with a great loan officer. I wish everyone could follow his lead. If you are interested in who this loan officer is, and would like his contact info, please call me at 225-907-5280 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I would love to publish his details here, but I didn’t get his permission (yet).
I work with a number of lenders and mortgage companies from around the world. For the ones that I work with, they typically send the loan modification package directly to me. I then meet with you, at any location you choose, and we take care of the package together. Some lenders, that I don’t work with on a regular basis, may send the loan modification paperwork directly to you. It is then up to you to complete the paperwork and get it notarized.
What is a loan modification package? It is a bundle of paperwork, usually around 30 pages or so, that will alter the terms of your current loan. In most cases, you are agreeing to vary the terms of your mortgage due to a financial hardship. It’s very common for many of us to run into financial difficulties. A loan modification is an attempt by the mortgage company to work with you on getting current with them. In essence, they don’t want to foreclose on your property. If they can alter the terms to put you back on track, it’s almost always in their best interest, and yours.
If you are in the Baton Rouge area and you receive a loan modification package from your mortgage company, feel free to give me a call at 225-907-5280. I will gladly come directly to you, walk you through the package, and take care of all of the notary work in it. My goal is to complete the package correctly, and to make sure that you find the answers to any questions that you may have.
This video on YouTube that I found does a pretty good job of explaining a loan modification: Loan Modification Explained
