- A lady that I tried to help a month ago called. Her former employee went to jail, and his truck got impounded. She has a lien on the vehicle that was never recorded. One of those nightmare scenarios. We weren’t really able to resolve it, but I sent the paperwork to her attorney to look it over.
- A lady that I helped in the past apparently lost the Act of Donation that the previous owner gave to her when she bought the car. I had to track down the original notary in Calcasieu (spelling?) Parish. Thankfully, she was awesome! Problem solved.
- A new title company in the New Orleans area hired me for a refinance closing here in Baton Rouge for tomorrow. Based on my interactions so far, this title company is a dream customer. I love doing loan closings, but getting new customers for that business is a slow process. Hopefully, these guys will send me plenty of business in the future.
- My favorite lender called me for two loan closings on Monday. One is in Gonzales and the other is in Mandeville. I wish I could work full time for this mortgage company. They are really amazing!
On a personal note, we are going to the All Parish Jazz concert tonight to watch our son Quinn. It’s impressive. It’s downtown at the Shaw Center, so we should have fun.
